Our structural hardware is built for rigorous urban deployment. However, the premium Nappa leather utilised in our Matte Black and Oxblood configurations is a natural, porous hide. It requires calculated maintenance to prevent degradation.
Treat your equipment with precision. Adhere to the following operational parameters to maintain the structural integrity of your build.
01: The Nappa Specification
We exclusively source full grain Nappa leather. Because the hide is uncorrected, it retains its natural structural graining and unique biological signatures. This is a hallmark of premium engineering, not a defect. While highly durable, the material is susceptible to chemical stripping and aggressive environmental factors.
02: Routine Maintenance
-
Surface Cleaning: Wipe the exterior strictly with a soft, slightly damp, lint free cloth.
-
Drying Protocol: Never apply direct heat from a radiator or hairdryer. If the hardware becomes wet, wipe it down and allow the structure to air dry naturally in a well ventilated space.
-
Chemical Prohibition: Never apply bleach, acetone, alcohol wipes, or standard household detergents to the leather. These compounds will immediately strip the dye and destroy the finish permanently.
03: Environmental Parameters
-
Moisture Exposure: Nappa leather is not a synthetic waterproof canvas. If your hardware is exposed to heavy rain, wipe it down immediately. Prolonged saturation will warp the internal architecture and cause the leather to swell.
-
UV Saturation: Extended exposure to direct, intense sunlight will prematurely age the leather and cause the Oxblood colourway to fade. Store the equipment in a dark, dry environment when not in active use.
04: Warranty Void Conditions
Our Returns & Defect Protocol strictly covers verified manufacturing and engineering failures. It does not cover user negligence. Any damage resulting from the application of unauthorised chemical cleaners, extreme environmental exposure, or failure to follow this Material & Care Protocol will instantly void your warranty and disqualify the structure from our repair matrix.
